Google has wrong site cached?
There has been a new page up at http://www.churro.com, but the google cache shows the web page for http://www.jjsnack.com. Its like google is redirecting the cache to another cache.
The sitemap reflects the change and google has crawled the site a number of times.
Any idea how to get google to fix this?

It works fine for me. Try clearing your cache. The problem could be your computer is redirecting you.

She is a shipping logistics officer for an international company. It helps in giving her and her team a good over view of locations in relationship to other locations, GPS and latitude and longitude coordinates as well as distances between locales.
I think it has or at least offers the opportunity for young students to learn geography. I say this because in the news this morning was an article about the show %26quot;Are you smarter than a fifith grader%26quot; An American Idol didn't know that Hungary was a country. If it wasn't so sad it would be funny.

I posted a week ago about how my and my competitors' google backlinks had been disappearing. I'm pleased to report that today the number of google backlinks has gone up considerably for me and the other sites I keep an eye on.
My site is still in the number 1 spot for its key words so I don't know what the effect of this latest update is. Has anyone else noticed any changes from google today?

The backlinks are given based on the quality of the sites offering links. If these links are from spam site then it is natural Google has removed them

I'm guessing that you're using the Google link: operator - if so don't rely on it's results - they only return a subset of a sites backlinks.
Yahoo's link operator is much better - Make sure to include the http:// when using that function in Yahoo.
The best way of getting a good list of backlinks for your site is to use Google site maps www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ - much more comprehensive.

The thing is, I acutally posted a question on an academic forum. But it contained some of my personal information(not my name or email, but includes what year I am in, what country I am studying in a certain field). So , I asked the moderator of the forum website, and so he edited my post to not include my personal deails. However, when I typed in some of the words related to the previous post, it is STILL showing on google.com. How can I contact google so that the new post instead of the old one can be viewed on that search engine?

Here. I'll help you. At the top of the screen go to tools, internet options, Then see where it sais homepage? under that is browsing history, and under that is search. Click the button beside that that sais settings. Then see that list of providers? click on google and at the bottom click set default. If google isn't on there then there should be blue lettering that sais %26quot;Find more providers%26quot;. Click on that and it should have a long list of providers. Click on google and it will add it to the list. Then go back to that list that I showed you, click on google, and click the button that sais set as default. Now for some reason if you can't find google on that list after you clicked on that blue lettering. There is a box to the side where you can create your own. Then follow the directions form there.

In desperate need... My monitor screen is upside down and I dont know how to fix it.?
One moment i am changing google toolbar buttons and then the next my screen frozen so when i tried to start it over it turned upside down. This working on it upside down is a pain. I am clueless how to fix it or even what I did. Please help me.

It all depends on what graphics card and accompaning utlities it comes with. Like I have a system that's using Intel graphics. To make it rotate like yours did, I would go to Start -%26gt; Settings -%26gt; Control Panel -%26gt; Display -%26gt; Settings tab -%26gt; Adavanced button -%26gt; Intel Extreme Graphics 2 -%26gt; Graphics properties -%26gt; Rotation tab. If you don't have the Intel graphics, if you get up to the %26quot;Advance button%26quot; step, and start looking around, you should be able to find something that will take care of it.
for Nvdia use the nvdia control panel and choose rotation tab, make 180 degree rotation and %26quot;POP%26quot; your screen will be normal again...
Same goes to ATI type graphic, just go to rotation tab in the ATI catalyst, and turn 180 degree rotation and your screen will go out normal again...

I was just trying to look up lyrics for a song from the early '80s titled %26quot;Cubic Refugee%26quot; (about a guy who's addicted to his Rubik's Cube), but when I typed the first line of the lyrics in quotes, the search came back with a bunch of sites that had nothing to do with the line in quotes, nor did it indicate that any (or no) search results had come up for that lyric line. Google results used to do that until just very recently, but now it looks like they've really changed things up. Any tips on how to do exact-phrase searches, if Google has changed things?

Hi, I have a Google Apps system for my families email and wish to change the email addresses around for some. I know I can change names, passwords and that sort of stuff, But I do not see any email change option. I also wish to change the OLD email addresses into aliases for new ones. Can anyone give me info on what the life of a wife and children of an active army soldier is like?
My husband has been talking to me about joining the Army. We have two children (1yr and 3 yrs old) and another on the way. He says that he wants to join because of us and wants to take us with him. I don't know what to say, I need more info on the base we will be in and how our lives will change. Google and Youtube didn't give me any results. Can a wife of a soldier tell me about this or maybe a Soldier. The only thing that comes to my mind is what if he doesn't make it back? Is there more than this that could make me support his decision? Is it dangerous. Somebody please help with advice.

I suggest doing lots of research on the http://www.goarmy.com/ and http://www.military.com/
There is a possibility he can die everyday (car accident, health issues, random violence). You need to be strong and be able to handle everything independently.
He might get an isolated tour to Korea right off the bat and not be able to get command sponsorship to bring you. Keep that in mind as well. He might get to a unit in process and catch up with them on deployment. He might not deploy for a year or so.
Keep in mind you have to be flexible. The military will come first.
There is lots of support.
To begin with he will have to talk to a recruiter, take the ASVAB and get through MEPS. If after doing the research and you both think it is the right thing to do then go with him when he talks to the recruiter.

If he were to get killed SGLI pays the family a lot of money. Not near enough to replace your husband but you would be ok financially and your childrens college would be paid for.
It's a tough lifestyle for a family especially during war time.
They take care of a lot of things for you and the benfits are awesome but they take a lot away from you as far as time with your husband being OCONUS.
When he isn't deployed and you guys are together though, it's the best job in the universe.

Life as an Army wife is tough. We don't have any children and it can be hard. However, some of the wives who have children swear it is easier with kids because they take your mind off the loneliness. Currently my hubby is away at NTC (a month long training mission simulating the desert) and it has been hard. I realize just how lonely it will be when he is deployed. I am actually moving back to my home state to be around my family support system.
Your life will change, some for the better some may seem worse. You will ALWAYS be taken care of by the Army. You will have health care, a hospital, PX (kind of like a mini-mall), commissary (grocery), Post Office, bank... post life has nearly everything any town has with one difference, it is all Army. Everyone is in the same boat as you, their husbands are away, they worry, they feel the same feelings. They understand you. You will have a support system within the Family Readiness Group (FRG) and your husbands unit (squad/platoon level). When he is deployed, yes it is hard but you will make it.
You can't think about the %26quot;what ifs.%26quot; Being in the Army can be dangerous, but it is a great thing he wants to do. I have received one of those ominous phone calls, it informed me that he had been injured in Iraq (during his last tour), yes it was hard but he lived and he is fine. Just do things to keep yourself busy.
Life as an Army wife can be fun. You get to see the country or possibly the world. You meet people from all walks of life and corners of the US. Some you stay in contact with for a long time, some only while at your post, either way they are all there for you.

I cannot run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, HijackThis, ms malicious software removal (KB890830), spybot and I'm willing to bet that other programs such as avast won't work either, not even in safe mode.
The first problem is arrising on www.google.co.uk only and not www.google.com
I've ran pings on co.uk and it seems like im going through a proxy. Browser proxy config ok, internet connection proxy setup ok, router config ok.

So you got Malwarebytes already on your desktop and you cannot open it? Try renaming Malwarebytes. Frankly, I think you're better off going to a forum such as bleepingcomputer.com so that they can give you tools that we cannot give them here. The number of tools we can offer in Yahoo Answers are limited. Don't turn your system restore off before clearing malware,worry about that later.
Right click on the shortcut of Malwarebytes %26gt; go to 'Properties' %26gt; go to 'Find Target' (for Vista, go to 'Open File Location') to take you to the very file to rename %26gt; rename it, for instance 'col.exe' and then double-click on it to run, not the shortcut (unless you rename it from within the shortcut itself, as well).

1. I just come across a site that has a portable security app called ClamWin Portable that is free! Just download it on another computer and choose (save)and put it on a USB memory stick,then choose run and update it while it's still stuck in the good computer! Then connect it to the infected computers USB port and choose run and/or begin scan and let it do it's thing? When it's done delete all entity's it finds? Now go back to plan A and finish killing your bug!

2.Avira just put out a free rescue CD that you can download and burn on another computer.All you have to do is stick it in the infected computers drive,reboot and follow the directions? (Note)if it says burner not compatible save the file as an ISO and burn it with an ISO burner like Magic ISO? After it loads up hit the space bar when asked and then hit the English flag to change to English and hit start scan!

There are three aims of this virus:
1) Change Google Adware links and google links
2) Disable the running of anti-virus software
3) Restrict access to sites supplying anti-virus software
I cannot run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, HijackThis, ms malicious software removal (KB890830), spybot and I'm willing to bet that other programs such as avast won't work either, not even in safe mode.
The first problem is arrising on www.google.co.uk only and not www.google.com
I've ran pings on co.uk and it seems like im going through a proxy. Browser proxy config ok, internet connection proxy setup ok, router config ok.

So you got Malwarebytes already on your desktop and you cannot open it? Try renaming Malwarebytes. Frankly, I think you're better off going to a forum such as bleepingcomputer.com so that they can give you tools that we cannot give them here. The number of tools we can offer in Yahoo Answers are limited. Don't turn your system restore off before clearing malware,worry about that later.
Right click on the shortcut of Malwarebytes %26gt; go to 'Properties' %26gt; go to 'Find Target' (for Vista, go to 'Open File Location') to take you to the very file to rename %26gt; rename it, for instance 'col.exe' and then double-click on it to run, not the shortcut (unless you rename it from within the shortcut itself, as well).
Another method is to rename by exe extension to .bat, .com, .pif, or .scr and then double-click on it to run. For instance 'mbam.bat' and so on.

I didn't like how all my questions and answers popped out...
If I changed my username from my old one to a new one, will all of those on Google change as well?

One possible solution is to use a very 'anonymous' nickname, one that others may use as well, so you get lost in the crowd for example. Or one not likely to be googled. Remember, anything we do on-line is out there; there is NO real privacy on the internet, really, no matter what they say about it. So the only way to totally avoid this is to not put anything out there that you don't want seen.

I've changed the content on my website drastically over the past four years since I acquired it, but it still has the same description on MSN as before even though the description has been changed on Google and Yahoo. I thought MSN's listings used the same descriptions as Yahoo, like MSN was using Yahoo's content for their searches, but I'm not so sure about that now. And I can't find any links on the MSN home page on how to change site descriptions in their directory.
And speaking of my listing on Yahoo, I've been trying for the past two months to get them to change a typo they made when posting the new description they drastically rewrote from what I e-mailed them, and their customer service people seem to be non-existent. I got one e-mail from a real person more than a month ago, but it wasn't much more than a form-letter reply, and now I can't get any response at all. And I'm not happy that they changed the description I wrote AND made a typo that is still there. Any suggestions?

Have you changed your HTML description on your site? I am not sure about if you are using 'their' editor, but if you have created a site and are able to use an HTML editor, you need to change your description there.
It would look like:

Then resubmit your site to Google, etc. and it should change it when there spider gets it again.

usually on the google homepage it has the search bar, then above it %26quot;Web%26quot; %26quot;Images%26quot; %26quot;Video%26quot; etc, but now that disappeared and went to the corner. can i change it back? and also, for the Mozilla Firefox Start Page thing, how do i make that go away and make it the usual google page

In Firefox, go to TOOLS %26gt; OPTIONS %26gt; and then GENERAL (depending on version). Type the link I gave into the %26quot;home page%26quot; box. That should do it.

Every code has many levels. each level requires the ablity to access it. If you can not access it you can not change it.
What google gives you. You can not change unless you now how they created the %26quot;html%26quot;....with out being able to munipulate the code under the html.
You will have to create your own.
