How do I change the default search engine in Windows 7 ?

I currently have MS Bing as the search engine and I do NOT like it ! I would like to change it to Google - any suggestions ? I bought this pre-loaded laptop computer from Wal-Mart on Black Friday HP G71-329WM for $398. Many thanks for all your help!

From the list there, you can add new Search Providers to your Internet Explorer. After clicking on 'Add to Internet Explorer', a dialog box would appear in which you can select to make the new Search Provider being added to be set as the default search provider.

Click 'Add' and you are done.

It is IE8, and not IE 7 that comes bundled with Windows 7.

First go to Google's homepage in Internet Explorer then click on the tools tab in the right-hand corner and select Internet options at the bottom, then click use current and then click apply.then Google will be your default search engine
