On firefox, how do I change the default google search engine to google canada?

It's easier to use the Google Toolbar to search instead of the Firebox Search Bar. You can then change the default Google search engine for the Google Toolbar just by clicking Options followed by %26quot;Search%26quot; at the top of the window. Then change the Google site in the drop down menu. However, if you don't have/want the google toolbar, do the following:

- Go to your installation folder (default is C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox) then open the %26quot;searchplugins%26quot; folder.

- You should see a file called google.src, open that file with a text editor such as Wordpad or Notepad.

- Find the line that says exactly as below:

action=%26quot;http://www.google.com/search%26quot;

- Change that line to:

action=%26quot;http://www.google.ca/search%26quot;

- Save the file, and restart Firefox.

Hope that helps.
